[15:00] <mileszs> Yuck.
[15:00] <mileszs> For some reason I associate Gantt charts with Microsoft.
[15:01] <mileszs> I wonder if MS has a VP of Gantt Charting.
[15:01] <mileszs> They should, anyway.
[15:04] <jqr> :)
[15:04] <jqr> found this pretty handy for debugging complex cucumber scenarios
[15:04] <jqr> http://gist.github.com/220720
[15:05] <jqr> that ARGV hack sucks, if someone knows a better way please let me know
[15:08] <jqr> also, cucumber table comparison using diff! is freaking awesome

[15:19] <jqr> which is worse, AT&T or IE?

[15:45] <baldwindavid> any suggestions on a simple RSS private feed reader program for Windows? FeedReader? - A client needs to watch orders come in for a shopping cart
[15:47] <jqr> nope, but I would consider converting the RSS to email since most people are familiar with it
[15:48] <baldwindavid> it's actually Shopify so that's already covered - but I think you're right that I am probably better off not introducing RSS as they will get confused
[15:49] <baldwindavid> released a Shopify and Foxycart implementation within a week of each other - both services are pretty nice, but very different
[16:01] <jqr> yeah, which do you prefer?
[16:02] <baldwindavid> hard to say because they are so different, but...
[16:03] <baldwindavid> for a traditional shopping cart with a large number of products Shopify is great
[16:03] <baldwindavid> it handles most everything for you
[16:04] <baldwindavid> However, for custom applications with payment processing that really don't look like a shopping cart, Foxycart is great
[16:05] <baldwindavid> ...but with Foxycart you're on your own to set up your products, line items, variations, XML feed processing, etc.
[16:06] <baldwindavid> Oh, but Foxycart also handles subscriptions, which is big
[16:06] <baldwindavid> If you only have a few products, I would also choose Foxycart
[16:07] <baldwindavid> I would also give Spree a real hard look if you are considering going the Shopify route
[16:08] <davidray2> Anybody know an easy way to calculate the second thursday of every month?
[16:10] <baldwindavid> You might try this...http://github.com/fnando/recurrence/
[16:11] <baldwindavid> Jose Valim is my new ThoughtBot, as I do as he does
[16:19] <davidray2> thanks
[16:28] <davidray2> That's really useful.
